Scimex: International scientists have
launched a crowd-sourced technology tool, called BAMSurgeon, that is
able to detect DNA mutations in cancer. The tool simulates cancer
genetic code, often a very close match to the genetic code of actual
human tumors, making it easier for scientists to compare DNA code and
detect unusual mutations that could lead to cancer.
