Trampoline injuries are bouncing up, not down

Scimex: Although there have been improved product safety standards, and trampoline design modifications, both the injury rate and frequency of trampoline accidents have grown since 2002, say Australian researchers. The researchers say that on average there were 1,737 trampoline injuries reported nationally each year from 2002 to 2011, and warn that netted enclosures could actually contribute to the risk of injury by leading parents to falsely believe that they eradicate the risk of injury.
